P.4 - P.7 PARENTS’ MEETING AS ON 17TH /02/2026.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MEETING

COMMUNICATION FROM HEAD TEACHER

- He welcomed all members to the meeting and thanked them for responding to the call.

- He thanked God for the gift of life and protection.

- He thanked parents for entrusting the school with their children.

- Welcomed new parents and thanked them for choosing Dade as their number one choice.

- He thanked the director for always keeping the school looking good.

- He then thanked parents for their co-operation and team work shown to the school.

- He reminded parents the arrival time as 6:30 and lessons to begin at 7:00am and end at 5:00pm.

-He advised parents who drive to always drive slowly within the school having it in mind that we have young ones in the school.

- He later asked parents to always identify people to pick their children to the respective teachers for safety purposes.

- He informed parents that the school has hired security personals to keep security in and around school.

- He thanked parents for equipping their children with scholastic materials and asked those that have not to do the same.

- He then advised parents to always keep the sick children at home and bring them back after treatment to control the spread of infections.

- He encouraged parents to always check their children’s bags to see if the child has carried what doesn’t belong to him/her.

- He informed parents that children ought to take homework every day and role of the parent is to read through and append a signature.

- He encouraged parents to always observe the school rules and regulations to guide them.

- He urged parents always to read the circulars that are sent to them to avoid missing some important information from school.

- He disclosed to parents the performance of PLE 2025 as 9 first grades and 9 second grades and asked parents of those og’s  and ob’s to send them to school the next day to be appreciated by the school the next day to be appreciated by the school led by the director.

- He encouraged parents always to check of their children’s performance so as to guide them accordingly.

- He informed parents of the targets that have been set by heads of department and that the worst score should be C3 in each subject.

- He informed parents of P7 about prep lessons which will start first term and ending at 7:00pm.

- He informed parents of the tours in first term and that they will be informed about the progress of these tours.

- He talked about clubs in the school and listed a number of them sighting out the newly introduced clubs like chess and music instruments costing 100000shs per term and the rest of the clubs to remain at 70000shs.

- He informed parents that children of P.4 -P.7 will be attending Saturday classes and it’s a must.

- He informed parents of the activities in this term as follows.

               - Cultural day

               - Tours for lower primary.

               - Thanks giving at Bugolobi COU

              -Open day.

- He asked parents to provide their WhatsApp numbers to the school for easy communication.

- He asked them to monitor their children on what they watch and read from media.

- Lastly, he informed parents that the school has few vacancies left from baby class to P.6.

- He asked parents of P.7 to submit the NIRA certificate of their children by March and also parents of P.6 to start chasing for NIRA certificate to ease registration.

COMMUNICATION FROM THE DIRECTOR

- She welcomed parents to the meeting and thanked them for keeping time.

- She thanked them for the cooperation and hard work to see that the school grows.

-She reminded parents to always truck their children’s behaviour since most bad behaviour starts from the community where those children live.

- She informed parents of the school mothers who help to encourage and counsel them for proper growth and performance.

- She also emphasized on cultural day which takes place every Holy Thursday and asked them to support children with cultural wear as it helps them to learn about their culture.

- She reminded parents about careful driving within the school and also to mind about the corners in the school compound.

- She informed the parents of the hub where different skills will be handled since the current curriculum demands for such.

- She concluded by encouraging parents to work hard and pay school fees in time for smooth running of the school programmes.
